About the job
We are looking for a flexible and dynamic physiotherapist, preferably with experience in the children's field, who can see the value in working across disciplines in a pedagogical environment. You should be interested in working holistically around the children. Our approach is based on play and the child’s zone of proximal development.
The target group is children aged 0-6 years with a significant and lasting physical and mental impairment that requires ongoing treatment – both special pedagogical and therapeutic as well as children with physical and mental impairments who need a special pedagogical intervention.
Children generally need to be in smaller child communities and require substantial adult guidance through all daily activities and transitions.
We work purposefully to plan a special educational and therapeutic intervention, where special attention is given to the child’s needs for help in development and support to be able to participate in and thrive in small and larger child communities. We base this on the child’s starting conditions and delayed development level. We work at all levels inclusively.
Your closest collaboration partner will be a fellow occupational therapist as well as 9 educators in Brombærhuset.
