About the job

Become part of a specialized and interdisciplinary team! Do you want to make a real difference for people with acquired brain injury? Do you want to work with rehabilitation at a specialized level, in close interdisciplinary collaboration, and a daily life where professionalism, structure and relationships go hand in hand? Then it might be you we are looking for.

A workplace in exciting development

We are seeking physiotherapists for permanent, full-time positions in our 24-hour unit for rehabilitation at a specialized level in Horsens, with start date on December 1, 2026.

You will become part of an organization in the middle of an important transformation. In connection with the Health Reform, the specialized area is transferred from the municipality to the region as of January 1, 2027.

For you, that means an extraordinary opportunity to put your professional mark on the field, contribute to the development of the specialized area and be part of a meaningful journey for citizens, employees and partners.

Who are we?

We work with citizens after discharge from hospital, where the course length depends on the individual's development potential – typically around three months. Our goal is to support the individual citizen in becoming active and participating in their future life with reference to their own resources, wishes and needs and in close collaboration with relatives.

You will become part of a dynamic, dedicated and interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social and health care assistants, neuropsychologist, speech therapist and chief physician. Together we work targeted and specialized with individual rehabilitation plans and a common focus on making citizens active participants in their own lives.

Your tasks

As a physiotherapist with us you work with treatment and rehabilitation of citizens with acquired brain injury, who may have both physical and cognitive consequences. Among your central tasks are:

  • Evaluation and rehabilitation of citizens with complex problems after acquired brain injury
  • Preparation and follow-up of individual rehabilitation plans based on the citizen's resources and goals
  • Close interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration with colleagues, citizens and relatives
  • Documentation and professional communication – both oral and written

About you

We are looking for you who

  • Are professionally engaged, curious and want to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex issues in a rehabilitative daily life.
  • Are interested in, and preferably have experience with, neurorehabilitation as well as complex pathways.
  • See neuro-pedagogical strategies as a natural part of the task.
  • Have good collaboration skills, thrive in teamwork, seek sparring and value interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • Are initiative-taking and able to plan and prioritize your own tasks independently.
  • Communicate and convey clearly both orally and in writing and thrive in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
  • Move comfortably between monodisciplinary and interdisciplinary tasks, even when daily life requires quick shifts. At the same time you contribute actively to a good working environment together with your interdisciplinary colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have a driver's license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens will also take place in the citizen's own home.

What can you expect?

  • A close interdisciplinary collaboration with the citizen at the center and a varied daily life, where you closely follow the citizen's development.
  • A thorough onboarding with professional guidance, supervision and competence development in relevant tasks.
  • A workplace with a focus on quality and professionalism, where there is work with evidence-based knowledge.
  • A good working environment with psychological safety, engaged colleagues, good humor and room for togetherness.
