About the job
Become part of a specialized and multidisciplinary team! Do you want to make a real difference for people with acquired brain injury? Are you eager to work with rehabilitation at a specialized level, close multidisciplinary collaboration and a daily life where professionalism, structure and relationships go hand in hand? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.
A workplace in exciting development
We are seeking physiotherapists for permanent positions physically based at Bytoften with start date 1 December 2026.
We are in the midst of an exciting development. In accordance with the Health Reform, the specialized area is transferred from the municipality to the region as of January 1, 2027. This means that you will become part of an organization in change – with the opportunity to make your professional mark, contribute to the development of rehabilitation at a specialized level, and be part of an important journey for citizens, employees and partners.
Who are we?
We work with citizens after completed hospital stay, where the length of stay depends on the individual citizen's development potential – typically a course of three months. In rehabilitation we work towards the individual citizen becoming active and participating in their future life, based on their own resources, wishes and needs, and in close collaboration with relatives.
You will be part of a dynamic, engaged and multidisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social and health assistants, neuropsychologist, speech and language therapist and chief physician. We work purposefully and specialized with rehabilitation plans for the individual citizen and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own lives.
Your work tasks
As a physiotherapist with us you work with treatment and rehabilitation of citizens with acquired brain injury, who may have both physical and cognitive consequences. There is also a strong focus on interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration.
- Treatment and specialized rehabilitation of citizens with complex neurological issues
- Development and follow-up of individual rehabilitation plans in close multidisciplinary collaboration
- Involvement of the citizen and relatives as central partners throughout the process
- Contribution to cross-sector collaboration with municipalities and other actors
About you
We are looking for you who
- Are professionally engaged, curious, and want to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex issues in a rehabilitative daily life.
- Are interested in, and preferably have experience with, neurorehabilitation as well as complex pathways.
- See neuro-pedagogical strategies as a natural part of the task.
- Have good collaborative skills, thrive in team collaboration, seek sparring and value multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Are proactive and able to plan and prioritize your own tasks independently.
- Communicate clearly in both spoken and written form and thrive in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
- Move easily between mono-disciplinary and multidisciplinary tasks, even when day-to-day life requires quick shifts. At the same time you actively contribute to a good working environment together with your multidisciplinary colleagues.
It is an advantage if you have a driving license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens will also take place in the citizen's own home.
What can you expect?
With us you enter a workplace where professionalism and human closeness go hand in hand. We offer:
- A close interdisciplinary collaboration with the citizen at the center and the opportunity to closely follow the citizens' development.
- A thorough introduction program with professional guidance, supervision and competency development in relevant tasks.
- A varied daily life with professional challenges and focus on quality and evidence-based practice.
- A good working environment with psychological safety, engaged colleagues, good humor and room for togetherness.
Would you help set the standard for specialized neurorehabilitation? We look forward to hearing from you.
