The available position is in a classroom with both an experienced pedagogue and an assistant, who are looking forward to joint, professional reflection on everyday practice with you. We have a high pedagogue share in the house and an open culture where good, professional ideas are exchanged and implemented

As a pedagogue in Børnehuset Pilegårdens kindergarten section you will become part of a community and a professional environment where we especially work with the positioning of the pedagogue and supporting play as children’s most important development and learning space.

You will spend much of your time in nature, for we have a positive and curious approach to the phenomena of nature - and of the seasons. We live in a wonderful natural area with a green and large playground. We have fields, a stream, exciting terrain and the cutest brown cows just outside the gate. All of these things will fill a lot of your daily life.

We have all just completed a NEST competence development program, and you will therefore experience a house in rapid, positive development that you can influence. For a long time we have worked to create a good, structured and caring everyday practice and we hope you have the courage to bring your professionalism into the work.

• You have curiosity and imagination as part of your pedagogical value system
• You can see yourself in a kindergarten where NEST pedagogy is the central element.
• You have an interest in working inclusively and with the starting point of the children’s community
• You are ready to collaborate in a professional learning community - in the house and cross-disciplinary
• Knowledge of the importance of play for relationship-building, learning, development and formation is a plus, but most important is that you are prepared to support the children and can make play flourish.
• You have a pedagogical overview and can create structure and framework daily life to create predictability and security for both children and parents – of course in collaboration with your good colleagues
• You are a trained pedagogue or have extensive experience with pedagogical work and perhaps a willingness to educate yourself with us.

About Børnehuset Pilegården We are about 25 employees in total and a good mix of age, gender and experience. In the kindergarten we are organized into 3 general groups and 1 group arrangement for 6 children, who are allocated here.

We develop ourselves within NEST-pedagogy together with a skilled pedagogical consultant

We are a house with a pleasant baseline atmosphere and a staff group with ambitions for the children to thrive and succeed within our framework

We place high value on parent collaboration and are concretely acknowledged for our work by the parent group

We have established structures for daily routines and the year as well as traditions as common guiding markers for the course of the year

We are supported by PPR and have ongoing management-led supervision

We work according to annual norms and have set aside time for preparation and planning, including for parent collaboration, and we have group meetings once a week.

We collaborate with our inspiring nature guide, whom we meet in the forest, in Nature House Bistruphus or at home in the kindergarten.

We have electric cargo bikes, so it is easy to get around, on longer trips and to Bistruphus.

We are a two-story house and we have a good collaboration with the nursery department, among other things regarding smooth transitions from nursery to kindergarten, we share staff facilities and hold joint meetings.

"Here with us you get lovely colleagues, where we give each other space to try different things and cover all curriculum themes. We are a house where we work in a community, we may have different opinions, but we work toward common goals. We use nature a lot for immersion and to go exploring with the children and it is right outside the door. We enjoy having frameworks where children can express their movement joy inside as well as outside. We share an understanding of the importance of dividing the children into smaller groups, for example when we currently prioritise work with playtime and play groups"
