Planner / Construction Planner (Region North Jutland)

Are you strong in scheduling, progress tracking and coordination on construction or civil engineering projects? We are looking for an engaged Planner / Construction Planner for our client in the Region of North Jutland, where you will play an important role in creating overview, structure and realistic plans in a larger project organization.

About the position

As a Planner / Construction Planner you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and following up on the project timelines.

The role requires a structured and analytical profile that understands dependencies between trades, production and project activities, and who can give project management a clear picture of status, risks and upcoming critical activities.

You will among other things work with

• Scheduling

You prepare and maintain the project timelines in collaboration with project management and production.

• Progress tracking

You follow up on progress, delays and deviations and ensure that the project’s real status is visible.

• Look-ahead plans

You work with short-term plans that translate the main schedule into practical management in execution.

• Coordination between trades and activities

You identify dependencies, interfaces and critical activities across the project.

• Reporting and decision basis

You report status, risks and schedule changes to project management, so decisions are made on a realistic basis.

You will have a role where your ability to create overview and challenge unrealistic plans becomes decisive.

Your profile

We would like you to have the following qualifications

• Experience with planning on construction or civil engineering projects

You have worked with schedules, progress tracking and coordination in project environments.

• Understanding of the realities of the construction site

You can translate input from production and project management into plans that can actually be used.

• Strong IT skills

You have experience with planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent.

• Analytical approach

You can identify critical path, dependencies and risks in the project’s planning.

• Clear communication

You can gather input, challenge assumptions and convey status clearly.

• Ability to speak and understand Danish

You can understand instructions, meetings, timelines and daily communication in Danish within the project.

As a person you are structured, analytical and persistent. You must be able to keep the schedule alive, not just make a plan that looks good on paper.

Workplace and practical conditions

• Workplace is in Region North Jutland .
• The role will be attached to the project office and on-site activities.
• Expected start is from October 2026 or by agreement.
• The duration is expected to be up to six months from the execution phase.
