Plejecenter Porsebakken seeks social- and health care assistant for night shift

So it's you we're looking for! Porsebakken's 48 residents miss a professionally strong and stable night shift to help and support them during the night hours.

About us

At the Porsebakken Care Center there are 48 residents spread across three/four departments. The residents at Porsebakken need help and support to have a good everyday life. Therefore your 50 future colleagues form a multidisciplinary staff team, consisting of pedagogical staff, nurses, social- and healthcare assistants, social- and health assistants and housekeepers.

The best for the residents is always to sleep at night, but that is not always the case – and some of our residents require constant care and assistance. The task includes both personal help and support, medication administration, tube feeding, help and support for good nighttime habits and also a reassuring hand and a bit of conversation.

As a night shift worker you and your colleague are responsible for Porsebakken at night. You have colleagues in the municipality as your closest collaboration partner, whom there is always an opportunity to contact if there are nursing-technical issues you need help with or need sparring for.

We work targeted to create a reality where the residents feel safe - also at night, and where the staff at the same time are happy to work. We work intensively to raise the professional quality, so the good life goes hand in hand with a secure professional effort – and this also applies at night.

You will work closely with a fixed “partner”. All our night shifts work 7-7 from Monday evening to Monday morning. We prioritize competence development among our employees, including you who work at night.

Additional information

The working hours for our social- and health assistants on night shift are from 22.45 – 07.15, as you will participate in the overlap with both evening and day staff (equivalent to 29.75 hours/week). 37 hours is also possible.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and in line with the Ny Løn principles.
