PMO Consultant for Digital at Sund & Bælt

Sund & Bælt is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant with strong competences in project governance, management reporting and portfolio support. You are motivated by creating structure, overview and decision bases for the management and have experience in establishing effective PMO processes and digital tools that support projects and portfolios.

In the role you will be a central driver in developing our PMO function, with a focus on standardization, reporting, data quality and management support across Digital's project portfolio.

The position

You will become part of Digital's Delivery department, which consists of experienced employees in project management and test management. As a PMO Consultant you will play a key role in supporting the management and the project portfolio. The role is primarily PMO-oriented and involves close collaboration with project managers, project owners, steering committees and management to ensure consistent reporting, valid governing data and effective portfolio follow-up.

You will also play a central role in developing digital PMO tools and automated processes that reduce administrative tasks and improve the data basis for decision-making.

Responsibilities

As a PMO Consultant your primary tasks will be to

• Prepare and consolidate management reporting at the project and portfolio level.
• Responsible for Digital's project portfolio.
• Ensure consistent project follow-up, risk reporting and benefits realization across projects.
• Support portfolio governance, governance processes and decision forums.
• Administer and further develop PMO processes, templates and governance tools.
• Drive digitalization and automation of PMO workflows through modern platforms, reporting solutions and AI-supported tools.
• In addition, you contribute to the preparation of materials for steering committees, management meetings and board forums as well as quality assurance of project data and reporting foundations.

Your background

We imagine that you

• Have a minimum of 5 years' experience from a PMO function or a role focusing on portfolio management of digital projects, governance and management reporting.
• Have solid experience with project and portfolio reporting to management and decision forums.
• Have experience with PMO tools, portfolio management solutions and digital reporting platforms.
• Have worked with development and optimization of PMO processes, governance and governance models.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of PRINCE2, MSP or similar frameworks, but we value practical experience with PMO support and portfolio management higher than project management experience.

At the same time you are collaborative and able to build good relations across the organization, even when you challenge existing workflows and data quality.
