About the job

PMO Lead for udvikling af Naviairs portefølje- og projektledelse

Would you like to help develop and mature project-, program- and portfolio management in an organization that delivers societally critical infrastructure? Do you have experience with portfolio management, decision processes, project models and management support? Do you thrive on both setting direction and getting things done in practice? Then you may be our new PMO Lead.

The position

Naviair is seeking an experienced PMO Lead for our PMO, where you will have the opportunity to put your own professional stamp on the development of Naviairs PMO and the processes, decision foundations, tools and management principles that will support the organizations investments and development in the coming years.

You will become a central part of a PMO that is strengthening the organizations ability to prioritize investments, deliver projects and create value through the professionalization of project-, program- and portfolio management.

The position combines strategic development with operational execution. You must both be able to develop decision processes, working methods and management information, and be willing to prepare analyses, reporting, decision proposals and training materials yourself.

You will continuously support the executive management and management forums with analyses, priorities and decision proposals and contribute to translating strategic goals into concrete investments and initiatives.

You will have a role with wide contact across the organization and become an important sparring partner for managers, project owners and project managers.

The role is a professional specialist role without line management responsibility, but with a real professional mandate. Together with the PMO head you set the standards and decision processes by which projects and investments across Naviair are governed. For example, project model, gate criteria, prioritization models and management information. These are standards that bind across the organization, and you are the one whom managers, project owners and project managers come to when they need to translate them into practice.

  • Develop and maintain Naviairs project model, phase descriptions, gate criteria and review processes.
  • Prepare analyses and decision proposals for the executive management, management, and decision-making bodies.
  • Support the work with portfolio management, capacity management and investment planning.
  • Develop and implement tools for portfolio-, resource- and project management.
  • Develop dashboards, management reporting and management information.
  • Establish and maintain the project portal, templates and standards for project management.
  • Plan and conduct onboarding and training of e.g. project managers and project owners.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the PMO as a competence centre for project-, program- and portfolio management.

About you

We imagine that you have experience from PMO, project office, portfolio management, or larger transformation programs and are motivated by creating structure, maturity and organizational improvements.

We expect that you

  • Have solid experience with project-, program- and portfolio management, preferably with certification (P3O, MoP, IPMA or equivalent)
  • Have experience with developing and implementing decision processes, project models and management-supporting governance principles.
  • Have experience with portfolio-, resource- or capacity management supported by relevant tools and data foundations
  • Have strong analytical abilities and can translate complex issues into concrete recommendations.
  • Can prepare precise decision proposals and presentations for management levels.
  • Have experience with data analysis, reporting and management information.
  • Can facilitate workshops and create momentum in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Are structured and quality-conscious without losing focus on progress.

It is a plus if you have experience with government-regulated or government-critical infrastructure.
