About the job

PPR seeks maternity-leave substitutes for four psychologist positions, all 37 hours per week, for exciting tasks with children, youths and their families in a strong working community.

Do you want to work with and around children, youths and their families? And can you see yourself in the development field between interdisciplinary collaboration, educational psychology and clinical psychology? Then you may be the person we are looking for at PPR in the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention.

At PPR we are 32 psychologists who work with children and young people aged 0-18, pregnant people and parents of children and adolescents, staff in daycare, kindergartens, schools, as well as child and youth counselors, pedagogues and health visitors.

We are an appointment-free PPR, where we work from a clear ambition to develop a daycare and a school that can do more for more – through strengthened general pedagogy and professional learning communities. This happens in co-creation with our partners in the daycare sector, in schools and in close collaboration with the Travel Team of consultants, where PPR is involved in the practice field.

The psychologists’ work consists of a wide range of tasks: Educational Psychological Assessments (PPV), supervision of different professional groups, consultative work especially in daycares and schools, shorter and longer treatment courses, group offerings for children, child psychological assessments, parent competence assessments, psychological family therapy and crisis tasks. We are a PPR that works under the Health Act, the Danish School Act and handles tasks within the child’s legal framework.

There will be ongoing opportunities during your employment to influence which tasks best fit you and your qualifications.

We are looking for a psychologist (cand.psych. or cand.pæd.psych.), who is interested in working closely with practice in our daycares and schools.

We expect that you

  • have good collaboration skills to engage in various interdisciplinary collaborative relationships
  • are curious and open to the issues you will encounter in the work
  • are curious about yourself and your own practice
  • can create trust and psychological safety
  • can work independently and plan your time
  • have a positive attitude and are a good colleague
  • professionally be able to justify an approach based on what the children communicate with their symptoms and demonstrate how we can respond to their invitations in development-promoting ways
  • professionally be able to provide an understanding of the situation and challenges for children and young people in family, daycare, school and among peers
  • have a sense of humor

In PPR you will get

  • a developing and sometimes busy workplace, where there is also a focus on and responsiveness to the balance between work life and family/free time
  • a workplace with a high degree of professionalism and interest in expanding our professional knowledge and capabilities
  • a workplace with established supervision and always the possibility of collegial sparring
  • possibility for home-working days by agreement
  • good salary and working conditions
  • close collaboration with many different professional groups
  • a thorough and structured onboarding period
  • a colleague group that includes a good mix of newly graduated and very experienced psychologists who support each other. A colleague group with many different psychological angles/areas of interest, and who also enjoy social gatherings after work

We are seeking clinical psychologists with practical experience for our maternity-leave substitute positions.
