About the job
PPR seeks maternity leave cover for four psychologist positions, all 37 hours per week, for exciting tasks with children, young people and their families in a strong work community.
Do you want to work with and around children, young people and their families? And can you see yourself in the development field between interdisciplinary collaboration, educational psychology and clinical psychology? Then you may be the one we are looking for to PPR in the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention.
In PPR we are 32 psychologists who work with children and young people aged 0-18, pregnant people and parents of children and youth, staff in day care, day-care centers, schools, as well as child and adolescent counselors, pedagogues and health visitors.
We are a non-hierarchical PPR, where we work based on a clear ambition to develop a daycare and a school that can do more for more – through strengthened general pedagogy and professional learning communities. This happens in co-creation with our partners in the daycare sector, in the schools and in close collaboration with The Travel Team of consultants, where PPR is out in the practice field.
The psychologists' work consists of a wide range of tasks: Educational psychological assessments (PPV), supervision of different professional groups, consultative work especially in daycare and schools, shorter and longer treatment courses, group offerings for children, child psychological assessments, parental competence assessments, psychological family therapy and crisis assignments. We are a PPR that works under the Health Act, the Public School Act and handles tasks within the child’s legal scope.
During your employment there will be ongoing opportunities to influence which tasks fit you and your qualifications best.
We are looking for a psychologist (cand.psych. or cand.pæd.psych.), who has an interest in working closely with practice in our day care facilities and schools.
We expect that you
- have good collaboration skills to engage in various interdisciplinary collaboration relations
- are curious and open to the issues you will encounter in the work
- are curious about yourself and your own practice
- can create trust and psychological safety
- can work independently and plan your time
- have a positive attitude and are a good colleague
- professionally be able to account for an approach that takes its starting point in what the children communicate with their symptoms and can show how we can respond to their invitations in development-promoting ways
- professionally be able to provide an understanding of children’s and youths' situations and challenges in family, daycare, school and among peers
- have humor
In PPR you get
- a developing and sometimes busy workplace, where there is also focus on and sensitivity to balancing work life and family/personal time
- a workplace with a high level of professionalism and interest in expanding our professional knowledge and capabilities
- a workplace with scheduled supervision and always the possibility of collegial sparring
- possibility for remote working days by agreement
- good pay and working conditions
- close collaboration with many different professional groups
- a thorough and structured onboarding period
- a collegial group that includes a good mix of newly graduated and very experienced psychologists, who are mindful of each other and support one another. A collegial group with many different psychological perspectives/areas of interest, and who also enjoy being together at social events after work
We are seeking clinical psychologists with practical experience for our maternity leave vacancies.
