Job Description & Summary
Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in competence development, HR and versatile course administration in one of Denmark's largest knowledge organizations?
As an intern at PwC you will have responsibility from day one, work across projects and have the opportunity to put your personal touch on both your own daily life and our processes. The position may be for 4-6 months and between 30-37 hours - depending on your studies.
” With us you are not just a backstage helper – you are a full-fledged part of the team from day one. So we hope that you will share your knowledge with us, just as we are ready to teach you a lot,” says Development Advisor Anna Juncker Madsen.
Welcome to HR Development – where community and professionalism go hand in hand
PwC is one of the country's (and the world's) largest audit and advisory firms. In Denmark we are about 3,000 employees, spread across 9 locations nationwide.
In our office in Hellerup you will become part of our Human Capital department and more specifically HR Development, where 11 dedicated colleagues are ready to welcome you. We work across our organization and closely with the rest of the department to ensure that we retain and continuously develop what is most special about PwC – namely knowledge.
There is room here for both big ambitions, constructive knowledge sharing, a good sense of community – and bad humor across the desk, continues Anna.
We will agree your meeting times further when you start, but we have good flexibility. For we focus more on your attitude, approach and results than on exactly when you sit at your desk.
Dive into competence development, wellbeing and HR
As an intern with us you will be an active part of how we develop PwC’s learning and development environment. You will work across and dabble in different areas and you will of course receive a thorough onboarding and lots of responsibility as soon as you feel ready – but we are always close by to consult and follow up.
You will, for example, to
- support the planning and execution of courses across PwC
- participate in concept development of workshops on e.g. psychological safety, leadership or learning theory, which we tailor to the needs of different departments
- prepare presentations, materials and talks in close collaboration with experienced colleagues
- participate in driving smaller projects within competence development and internal advisory
- attend team meetings and collaborate directly with business units and internal stakeholders.
"The more curiosity and engagement you bring to work, the more you can shape – both your own role and our processes," explains Anna.
Curious, innovative and ready for responsibility
You are the type who asks good questions, contributes ideas and dares to take responsibility before anyone asks you to. And you have strong communication skills – both in writing and face-to-face, so you can easily navigate a complex organization. At the same time you are able to work independently and as part of a team.
We also expect that you
- are pursuing a relevant master's degree – or are in the final part of your bachelor's
- are in a program where you work with e.g., HR, organization, learning, communication or similar – the most important is your motivation, your desire to learn and your ability to translate theory into practice
- have strong language skills in both Danish and English
- dare to think outside the box, challenge ideas and actively contribute with input and improvements.
To get the most out of the internship, it is important that you can be part of the team for a minimum of 4 days per week.
Grow here. Go further.
As a part of PwC you are both part of a market success and a place to be. It is in the interaction between the two that trust is built, you learn new things and develop. Together with your colleagues you help create innovative solutions for business and the society we all are a part of.
Would you like to be part of our strong community?
If you have become curious about the job or have any questions, you are also more than welcome to call or write to Development Advisor Anna Juncker Madsen at [email protected] or +45 23 41 10 96.
Application deadline : Submit your application as soon as possible, as we screen and invite to interviews on an ongoing basis. We will remove the posting when our new colleague is found.
Start date: January-February
Work location : Hellerup
