Private Banking Director for Jyske Bank in South Zealand and Lolland-Falster

We are looking for two Private Client Directors for respectively Næstved and Nykøbing Falster, who want responsibility for a department with skilled employees and to become part of a closely collaborating leadership team that works across South Zealand and Lolland-Falster.

The Private Client Director's responsibilities and role

The job is for you who want to set a direction, develop people and contribute to growth in a market area with good customer relationships, local collaborations and a large business potential.

You will primarily have the daily management responsibility for either Næstved or Nykøbing F. and at the same time be part of a strong leadership team with four other managers. Together you are responsible for creating development and results across the market area with a focus on customers, employees and business.

You translate strategy into action and ensure that business ambitions become concrete activities in everyday work.

The role includes both leadership, professional sparring and business development. You will become an important sparring partner for all employees and contribute to high quality in credit, compliance and good advisory. At the same time, you are expected to strengthen cross-collaboration across Private, Corporate, Agriculture and Private Banking, so we create the best solutions for the customers.

You may come with a solid banking professional background and leadership experience. Or perhaps you have built solid experience and are ready for your first leadership job. Regardless of your background, it is important for us that you can create followership. You manage to set direction, create engagement and develop people, while keeping a focus on the business and the results we must achieve together.

You work in a structured way and have the professional depth that makes you a natural sparring partner for the employees. At the same time you are curious, collaborative and motivated by finding solutions across different areas of expertise.

Our market area

You will become part of a market area with 56 employees distributed across five locations: Nakskov, Maribo, Nykøbing Falster, Vordingborg and Næstved.

Since the market area covers multiple locations, it is important that you thrive working across geography. You will have great freedom in daily work, but also a responsibility to be visible, accessible and present for the employees in the entire area. It therefore requires a lot of travel on your part.

You will also become an important representative for Jyske Bank in the local area. We collaborate with a number of companies, networks and sponsors, and you are expected to develop existing relationships as well as build new ones. Therefore you should enjoy networking and participating in various events, which typically take place in the evenings and on weekends.
