In Kerteminde Municipality we are seeking 2 engaged and analytically strong financial consultants for the central finance team.

We are looking for financial consultants who are proactive, can approach the finances analytically and at the same time take the role of a clear and professionally strong sparring partner who dares to challenge and qualify decisions.

This also applies in the finance department, where you will become part of an ambitious team that collaborates to develop and support financial management across the municipality. About the job

As a financial consultant your tasks will focus on financial management and financial analyses.

You will be attached to a disciplinary area, where you will act as a financial sparring partner for the head of department and managers in their financial management. Depending on your profile you will be assigned to either Children & Family or School & Daycare.

You will participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with managers and staff in the area, and it is essential that you can communicate economics in an easy-to-understand way, and that you can contribute to an understanding of the whole, without losing focus on details.

You will play an important role in helping to further develop financial management, including methods, analyses and management information that can support better decisions.

The practical

Applications, attached CV and relevant documentation must be received by Sunday 25 October at 23:59.

Hiring interviews are expected to take place on 28 October 2026 and a potential second interview will be held on 29 October 2026.

If you go to the second interview you will be presented with a case you must present at the interview.

Employment is from 1 December 2026.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the applicable agreement for academics in municipalities concluded between KL and DJØF or another applicable agreement relevant for the position. The position is classified as a financial consultant or senior consultant at 37 hours per week.

Expected salary range: 26,000 – 49,900 DKK excluding employer-paid pension, optional pay and holiday allowance. Additionally, a standby allowance and any locally agreed allowances may apply.

The final salary determination will be based on your qualifications and previous professional experience after concrete negotiations with the professional organization.
