Job Description

As Product Developer you will be a central part of the R&D team with responsibility for both development, optimization and maintenance of products within the KIMS brand.

Your main tasks include harmonization and renovation of existing products focusing on quality, taste and consumer experience. In addition you will drive development projects from idea phase to implementation and handover to the production site.

You will also play an important role in handling product specifications, including recipes, product and process descriptions for both locally produced products and third-party produced items. The tasks include among others:

• Create and maintain product data
• Product registration and recipe management
• Handling of allergens and declarations
• Preparation and updating of process descriptions
• Application of sensory in product development in close collaboration with R&D, Marketing and Quality

You will work closely with both commercial functions, supply chain, production and external suppliers. You will become part of our Snack business, where we work closely across the Nordic and Baltic countries. Collaboration, sparring and joint development with colleagues in the other markets is a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with experience in food product development, preferably from an R&D or development department.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with product development within the food industry
• Have knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, BRC or equivalent
• Have experience with cross-functional collaboration across commercial departments, supply chain and suppliers
• Have a solid understanding of food science and technology
• Have experience with FMCG
• Are fluent in English in both written and spoken form
• Are structured, collaborative and thrive in a dynamic environment.
