Production Manager for NB Ventilation

Do you want to lead the production and make your mark on its further development?

On behalf of NB Ventilation, we are seeking a production manager who will have overall responsibility for the daily management and further development of the production. You will have the management responsibility for about 30 employees and become a central part of the management team, where you will have great influence on both the production's development and the company's direction in general.

The role combines visible and hands-on leadership with responsibility for planning, capacity, quality and continuous improvements. You must ensure smooth daily operations, but at the same time have an eye for where workflows, structure and processes can be developed and optimized.

NB Ventilation is a company in development, and there are therefore good opportunities to put your own mark on how the production should function going forward. Based on data, systems and your understanding of production, you will become an important driving force in the work to create even better flow, coherence and efficiency – both in production and across the company.

Set the direction for the production

As production manager you will have the overall responsibility for planning and progress across the production areas. Your task will be to create the right framework, prioritize resources and respond when delays or changes require new decisions.

Your central areas of responsibility will include

• Leadership and ongoing development of production in close collaboration with the organization
• Planning of capacity, resources, priorities and deadlines
• Ensuring a stable and efficient production flow
• Structuring and active use of production data
• Optimization of processes and reduction of waste

NB Ventilation already has a number of production data available. An important part of your task will be to put them even more into play and translate them into concrete decisions on, for example, capacity, delivery times, productivity and staffing.

At the same time, the company is curious about new technological possibilities and how, for example, AI could eventually support systems and workflows.

You combine leadership with technical understanding

Your specific educational background is not decisive. The most important thing is that you have solid experience with production management and know what it takes to get people, planning and production to work together.

You have a good technical and mechanical understanding and can engage in qualified dialogue with foremen, team leaders and employees. Experience from a project-based production will be a clear advantage.

We also would like you to

• Be strong in planning, prioritization and resource management
• Have good IT and systems understanding and be used to working with production data
• Have experience with Lean, process optimization or continuous improvements
• Preferably have knowledge of Business Central, but it is not a requirement
• Be able to translate data and analyses into concrete actions in production

As a leader you are visible, listening and inclusive. You actively use the organization's experience and professional knowledge, but also have the ability to make decisions and stand by them.

You are solution-oriented, robust and good at maintaining an overview when plans change. At the same time you are willing to challenge existing workflows and test new solutions when you can see the potential to make things better.
