Production-Technical Assistant (PTA) for the Supply Chain

PTA WANTED FOR OPTIMIZING PRODUCTION AND PROCESS FLOW

Are you passionate about creating stable, efficient and quality-assured master data and maintaining established production processes? Do you have solid technical understanding, an analytical mindset, and not least the desire to be the link between development and production? Then you could be the right PTA in PJM.

BECOME THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND A STRONG PRODUCTION

The PTA function is a newly created position in PJM’s Supply Chain Management.

From the start you will have a central role in ensuring that our production runs optimally – both in daily operations and in relation to existing and new products, equipment and processes.

You translate technical requirements into practical solutions, plan production flow and ensure that production has the right preconditions to meet deadlines and always maintain the same high PJM quality.

Your primary tasks will thus include

• Develop and maintain accurate work instructions, process descriptions, bills of materials (BOMs) and production documentation.
• Implement and validate new production processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes with a focus on quality, stability and efficiency.
• Drive smaller projects in automation and process improvements.
• Provide technical support to production in cases of deviations, stoppages and technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Design & Engineering, QA, Supply Chain and Assembly.
• Participate in risk assessments (FMEA).

YOU FIT WELL IN THE ROLE IF YOU

You have a relevant technical education – e.g., Production Technologist, Marine Engineer, or similar.

We expect that you

•

• Have experience from a similar position – e.g., PTA function, production technician, process optimization, etc.
• Have practical understanding of production equipment, production flows and documentation.
• Are structured, analytical and good at communicating across disciplines.
• Thrive in a role with both hands-on tasks and documentation work.
• Have knowledge of, and experience with, planning systems e.g. Monitor, ROB-EX.

It would also be an advantage if you have experience with LEAN and systematic problem solving.
