Tropica Aquarium Plants is a privately owned Danish company with headquarters in Egå near Aarhus. The company develops, produces and sells aquarium plants, fertilizers and accessories for aquaristics. We deliver daily to retailers across Europe, Asia and North America.

Tropica Aquarium Plants is a world leader in the production and sale of tropical water plants – and as the only producer we have our own production laboratory, from which we supply plants to our nursery as well as directly to our sales department.

We are about 80 employees at Tropica, of whom 25 work in production in our nursery.

Our production is divided into 3 departments: Manufacturing, Packing and Expedition.

The person we are seeking will be assigned to our Expedition department, where we pick and pack our plants ready for dispatch. There will also be opportunities to set a work profile that includes other tasks.

Your qualifications

· Your background is not that important, as long as you have the desire and energy for a sometimes busy everyday life.

· Enjoy working in teams, but also solve independent tasks.

· Quality-conscious and good sense of order

· Be accommodating and have good collaborative skills

· Good mood and a positive attitude to the tasks

· You must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in Danish

The working hours will be 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. We operate with flexible hours.

The employment is covered by the collective agreement for the horticulture sector agreed between 3F and Horticulture, Agriculture and Forestry Employers (GLS-A)
