Production worker for the yarn department – permanent full-time position

Havehandel.dk is growing, and we continuously expand our own production of iron products such as lawn borders, round raised beds and raised beds in custom sizes. Therefore we are looking for a production worker for a permanent full-time position in our iron department in Tvis near Holstebro.

About the position

Your primary task will be to participate in the daily production of our iron products. You will, among other things, work with cutting, bending, handling of materials and operating machines. You will also assist with packaging and preparation of iron products when needed.

You do not need to be a trained blacksmith or have experience with metal work. We provide thorough training in machines, workflows and products. Experience from a blacksmith shop or other production is however an advantage.

We are looking for someone who wants a permanent job and to become part of the department in the long term.

Your tasks

• Manufacture of iron products, including cutting, bending and machine operation
• Handling of materials and finished products
• Packaging and preparation of iron products as needed
• Quality control of your work
• Keeping things tidy and contributing to safe and good workflows
• Collaborating with colleagues on the department's daily tasks

Your profile

• You enjoy practical and physical work
• You are reliable and work efficiently and carefully
• You take responsibility for your tasks and are keen to learn
• You can work both independently and with others
• You can read and speak Danish
• Experience from a blacksmith workshop or production work is an advantage but not a requirement

Working hours and terms of employment

• Peak season, March–May: 39 hours per week with the possibility for extra hours
• Other months, June–February: 36 hours per week
• Flexible working hours between 07:00 and 17:00 by agreement and adjusted to production
• Work on some holidays around Easter may be expected
• Employment type: Permanent full-time position
• Start: As soon as possible, after agreement with you
