Production Worker

Genbrugssten is a green company that makes a difference. Bricks from demolished buildings are cleaned and given new life as material for new constructions, instead of ending up as construction waste – an important contribution to Denmark's environmental effort.

At Genbrugssten we work for the green agenda by cleaning taken-down clay bricks and using them in new circular construction, which results in large savings in both CO2 emissions and in the use of raw materials.

The reclaimed bricks are either sold as whole bricks or cut into shells, which are subsequently used for both facades and interior decoration of walls and floors. The job

We are looking for production workers for our permanent staff to handle ad hoc work, which will mainly include sorting and cleaning bricks with an air chisel, tasks within cleaning bricks and cutting shells on our wet cutting machine. After cleaning the bricks are stacked on pallets by a robot that also packs them, so they are ready to be used in new constructions.

Your profile

We need people who are comfortable in a physically demanding job, where there is noise and dust on a daily basis. In addition, we are looking for a profile with the following competencies:

We value the above personal qualities far more than your background and experience. If you have experience operating a forklift and/or a rubber wheeled loader, that is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 14:30 - 18:00.

Salary and terms: Current collective agreement between 3F and Dansk Industri.
