Production workers (student job) – help cultivate the future sustainable building materials

Would you like to help rethink the panels we build and use to make furniture from?

At Hyphen, panels are developed that can replace traditional particle boards and MDF – and that are also compostable, biodegradable, forest-friendly and carbon-sequestering.

Hyphen is now seeking 2-3 production workers for 15-20 hours per person per week, who want to get their hands dirty with the materials and help build the future materials industry.

Who are you?

• You are ready to use your hands.

• You can work independently and thrive on being responsible for making sure things get done.
• You may be a mechanical engineer, engineer, or biology student.
• You thrive in a company where things are constantly evolving.
• You enjoy listening to a podcast while you work.
• You like the idea of making a difference while getting paid.

About the Job

• Working hours – 15:00-23:00 on weekdays (15-20 hours per week – perfect as a student job!)
• Start date 1 November 2026
• Workplace is in Viby J – there are buses from Aarhus C.
• Production of panels – including everything that entails such as cleanup after production and unforeseen tasks in a development organization.
• After about 16:00 you are the one who drives the production forward. This means you must be able to work independently, keep an overview, and take initiative when something unexpected arises.
