For our client Cabinet System A/S in Faarup near Randers we are seeking an experienced production technologist / designer – for quick start!

Cabinet System A/S is known for delivering high quality and well-considered, tailor-made solutions for the energy, data and telecommunications sectors.

Demand for our products is growing significantly – therefore we are looking for a versatile designer to our design department. As a designer you will have a central role between sales and production.

You will become part of our design department and report directly to the managing director.

Your daily life will be a combination of development, maintenance and customer-specific tasks.

We are a modern manufacturing company with about 50 employees and a high activity level.

We work with targeted planning and short decision paths – and we need a colleague who can contribute from day one.

Your main tasks

• 3D design in Solidworks of all kinds of enclosure tasks in sheet metal for street cabinets, transformer stations, district heating solutions, etc.
• Preparation of production materials, bills of materials and documentation
• Technical assistance to the sales department.
• Technical sparring with production and colleagues.
• Participation in the department's other tasks.

Development and optimization

• Contribute to development and optimization of processes, workflows and production methods
• Participate in the implementation of new systems in the design department.
• Assist in further development of our product portfolio and customer-specific solutions

Training and onboarding

We provide thorough training and onboarding where you gain insight into production, design and the company's processes.

You will be equipped to perform your role professionally and deliver your tasks according to the company's standards.

We expect that you

• Have technical understanding and preferably experience with sheet metal production. You should be able to design in SolidWorks or at least in Inventor.
• Structured and independent – but a strong team player
• Good at communicating technical solutions in an understandable way
• Used to dialogue and follow-up, as well as project development according to deadlines.
• Proficient in Danish and English, written and spoken.
