About the job

Two maternity-leave replacements for Sundhedshuset – do you want to help make health tangible and meaningful?

Do you have a health professional background and are you passionate about health promotion, prevention and supporting people to create lasting changes in their daily lives? Then maybe we have a place for you at Sundhedshuset in Hedensted Municipality.

We are looking for two maternity-leave replacements at 30-35 hours per week for Sundhedshuset, which is part of Center for Health, Volunteering and Prevention .

About the job and the tasks

In Sundhedshuset we work with health promotion and prevention, based on the individual person's life, resources and motivation. You will become part of a daily routine with both individual conversations, group programs, teaching and health offerings in different places in the municipality.

Your tasks will include

  • Health dialogues, where together with the citizen you work with health, well-being, motivation and relevant habit changes.
  • Healthy Balance, which is a group-based program focusing on habit changes, training and a healthier daily life.
  • Nutrition- professional osteoporosis education for citizens with osteoporosis.
  • Decentralized health conversations at one of our satellites in either Tørring or Juelsminde.
  • Nicotine cessation both as individual programs and group programs.
  • Health Café at the Værestedet once a month.
  • Health clinic for families with overweight focusing on dietary guidance.
  • Guidance for BED (Binge Eating Disorder) .

The tasks thus span broadly, and you will meet citizens with very different needs and circumstances. Common to the work is that we aim to meet the citizen respectfully and with a view to the whole person – and together find solutions that make sense in each individual's daily life.

The work will primarily be anchored in Sundhedshuset, but part of the tasks are carried out decentrally in the municipality, including in Tørring or Juelsminde.

Our expectations of you

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a health professional background . It would be an advantage if you are bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health , but other relevant health professional educations can also be considered.

We imagine that you

  • Have an interest in health promotion, prevention and habit changes.
  • Thrive with both individual conversations, teaching and group programs.
  • Can create a safe and motivating relationship with people with different needs and life situations.
  • Can work independently and at the same time see the value in a strong interdisciplinary community.
  • Have good communicative and dissemination skills.
  • Are curious about your own and others' professional skills and want to contribute to the development of our offerings.
  • Are trained as a cessation advisor.

Experience with some of the described areas is an advantage, but we do not necessarily expect you to have experience with them all. The most important is that you have a solid health professional foundation and a desire to learn and develop together with us.

Why you should choose us

You will organizationally be part of Sundhedshuset under Center for Health, Volunteering and Prevention .

Here you will be part of a professional environment where we work with prevention and health promotion across different target groups and interventions. We emphasize high professionalism, collaboration and at the same time room for independence in task execution.

We believe that the best solutions are created together – both with citizens and across professional disciplines.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and job-based pay.

If you have questions about the positions, you are welcome to contact team leader Jakob Nørgaard Lyngsfeldt at tel. 21 74 13 04 or at email [email protected] .

About us

In Hedensted Municipality we work based on the values Responsibility, Dialogue and Development . They should not just be on paper, but be felt in how we work together with both citizens and colleagues.

Responsibility means to us that we take responsibility for our tasks, our professionalism and the common result.

Dialogue means that we are curious about each other's perspectives and create solutions in collaboration with citizens, colleagues and partners.

Development means that we dare to be curious about our practice, try new possibilities and continuously develop our offerings so they match citizens' needs and the reality we are part of.

In Social Care you become part of a fajlfri culture. We have spelled 'Fajlfri' wrong on purpose, because we do not expect you to be perfect. We expect you to be a person who uses your professional judgment, dares to try new things and learns from what does not succeed the first time. With courage and trust in each other we can together create the best possible solutions close to the citizens.
