About the job
Professional Coordinator for the Residential Facility Adelgade 2b as of Dec. 1.
Do you want to help strengthen professionalism, ensure stability and coherence, and co-develop the housing facility of the future?
-Then it may be you we are looking for!
In connection with our plan to expand our small residential facility in Adelgade 2b from 5 to 10 places, we are seeking a professional coordinator who can help ensure stability and professionalism before, during and after the process.
Adelgade 2b has over the last +25 years operated as a small, home-like residential facility, centrally located in Skanderborg, with room for 5 people who live with severe eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia and self-harm. As part of future-proofing the offering, we have decided to expand with a further 5 places. You can read more about the department here.
The facility is a department within the Stoa Group, which also houses the Residential Facility Stainagaard, an Outbound Team with a number of residents receiving housing support, as well as activity and social opportunities. You can read more about the organization here.
Your role as professional coordinator
As professional coordinator you will be a key person in the further development of Adelgade 2b. Together with the department manager, staff and residents, you will help ensure that the expansion of the offer is carried out with a high professional quality, clear structure and a continued home-like environment.
The position combines professional leadership, coordination and practice-oriented sparring. You will become an important driver in implementing professional methods and approaches, while also supporting daily operations and contributing to a coherent effort around each resident.
You will also work closely with the other professional coordinators in the Stoa Group, where knowledge sharing, joint development and cross-organizational collaboration are a natural part of the task.
In the startup phase, up to the actual expansion, you will also be part of the on-call team for up to about 50% of your working time.
Your main areas of responsibility
You will take a central role with responsibility for creating overview, coordination and coherence around both the professional efforts and the daily tasks. Your duties will include, among other things, the following:
- Coordinate and support the daily operations and structure of the offer.
- Ensure overview of residents’ development plans, and support follow-up on goals and actions.
- Coordinate work with status letters, SOL, SUM and status meetings.
- Contribute to quality assurance of social and health-related documentation.
- Act as the main driver for professional development initiatives, implementation of new measures, as well as follow-up and evaluation.
- Support work with guidelines, procedures and professional standards.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings, and collaboration with relevant partners.
- Be co-responsible for planning and carrying out admissions and relocations of residents.
- Contribute to planning and facilitating staff meetings and internal training days.
- Play a central role in implementing professional development programs and maintaining established methods and approaches.
- Provide professional sparring to staff regarding pedagogical approaches, treatment efforts and practice-related challenges.
- Support management, staff and residents in connection with inspections and other authorities’ tasks.
- Promote knowledge sharing and coherence across the Stoa Group and between internal and external partners.
- Take part in the on-call function.
Who are you?
We are looking for a professionally strong and relationally competent colleague who is motivated by creating quality, structure and development in collaboration with others.
We imagine that you
- Are educated within the social or health field.
- Have experience from residential facilities, psychiatry or related, specialized services.
- Have experience with action and development plans, as well as relevant professional methods and pedagogical approaches.
- Preferably have experience with the target group.
- Thrive in coordination and can create an overview in complex processes.
- Are curious, reflective and able to involve different perspectives.
- Are a visible and present sparring partner in everyday life.
- Have good collaboration skills and are able to build trustful relationships.
- Desire to contribute to professional development both locally in Adelgade 2b and across the Stoa Group.
- Preferably have experience with self-management, team development, process work and evaluation.
- Are open to co-creation and entrepreneurship.
We attach particular weight to the fact that you
- Can keep an overview and prioritize in a daily life with many tasks and stakeholders.
- Have a natural ability to create structure and follow-through.
- Are flexible and solution-oriented, without compromising on quality and professionalism.
- Are willing to take responsibility and at the same time see the value in close collaboration with both management and colleagues.
- Feel like being an active co-creator of the development Adelgade 2b is facing.
- Have a flair for shift scheduling.
- Hold a driving license, as Stoa Group’s departments are spread over several addresses.
What you get with us
- An exciting key role in a residential facility in development.
- Opportunity to influence a larger expansion process and future professional direction.
- A close collaboration with dedicated colleagues, the management team and professional coordinators across the Stoa Group.
- A workplace focused on professional development, quality and community, where we as part of the package have monthly internal training, ongoing group supervisions and individual supervisions as needed.
- Opportunity to make a real difference for both residents and staff.
· A workplace with an active staff association, subsidies for exercise, health insurance and pension scheme with PFA, paid time off on the first day of the child’s illness and much more, read more about it here.
Salary and terms of employment
The position is 37 hours.
Compensation is in accordance with the SL collective agreement.
In the starting phase, you will be part of the pedagogical on-call schedule for half the time; as we expand, the need will change, so you will only handle coordinator tasks.
Primary workplace: Adelgade 2b, 8660 Skanderborg (and eventually at a new address in connection with the expansion).
Upon hiring, references, a criminal record check and a copy of the driving license will be requested.
