Professional master's candidate with a focus on emissions, air quality and environmental technology

Do you want to help Danish food production move in a more sustainable direction through knowledge about emissions, air quality and environmental technology?

At SEGES Innovation we are seeking an industry master's candidate with a focus on emissions, air quality and sustainable animal food production in collaboration with Aarhus University.

As our new industry master's candidate, you will contribute to developing solutions that reduce emissions and improve air quality in future animal food production. The position is a two-year part-time role at 25 hours per week starting August 2027.

You will become part of SEGES Innovation's Climate & Environmental Technology department, which works with, among others, climate technology, emissions measurement and biogas. The department consists of a technically strong team of 15 colleagues, and your day-to-day will take place at the intersection of development tasks, technical analyses and long-term innovation.

Your tasks

As an industry master's candidate you will work on tasks where research, advisory services and practice meet.

Your tasks may include analysis of measurement data and understanding of emission processes, testing and evaluation of air-cleaning technologies, participation in innovation and development projects in collaboration with researchers, companies and other disciplines, as well as preparing technical analyses and documentation.

Collaboration with Aarhus University

The position is anchored in a close collaboration with the research environment within Air Quality & Emission Engineering at Aarhus University. It is a condition of employment that you complete your thesis (and possibly an R&D project) related to this field in collaboration with SEGES Innovation and Aarhus University.

About you

You are a student at the Department of Bioprocess and Chemical Engineering at Aarhus University and have an interest in environmental technology, emissions and air quality.

Additionally it would be an advantage if you

• are interested in practice-oriented technical issues
• are keen to participate in innovation projects and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• can work in a structured way with data, analyses and documentation
• are motivated to develop solutions for a more sustainable food production
