Olympus Daycare is a merged institution located on two sites at Korevej 2 and Fortunavej 1. Korevej is a small, cozy kindergarten with 20 children, and Fortuna is an exciting, integrated institution with 18 nursery children and 39 kindergarten children. It\'s in the nursery that we need hands.

We work as one house with a common pedagogy, based on NEST, ICDP and Aalborg municipality\'s quality markers. If you have knowledge of the above, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Olympus Daycare is an institution in development, and therefore there is plenty of opportunity to be a co-creator of a developmental learning environment that supports all children\'s participation in child communities, all based on Aalborg Municipality\'s view of children.

We are seeking a pedagogue in a permanent position 37 hours per week, as well as a pedagogue in a maternity leave cover 37 hours per week – the permanent position is available as soon as possible, and the maternity leave cover is from 1 December 2026. Both positions are in our nursery department at Fortunavej.

• Create safe and developmentally rich learning environments for children aged 0–6 years
• Work in an approving and relationship-based manner with the individual child
• Plan and implement pedagogical activities with high professional quality
• Actively engage in collaboration with parents, and view them as important partners
• Work with well-being evaluations (TOPI) and prepare parent meetings with more
• Contribute to a warm and inclusive culture in the house

We expect that you

• Are educated as a pedagogue – for the permanent position it is important that you have experience from the nursery.
• Have a strong professional awareness and can translate theory into practice
• Are present, acknowledging, caring and clear in your approach to the children
• Thrive in a daily life with both structure and flexibility
• Are reliable, and able to start during the full opening hours 6.30-16.50
• Have a desire to contribute to a positive and developing work environment, where we look after each other and respect each other\'s differences
