About us

Toftegården is a small, cozy nursing home with only 12 beds. Our daily life is characterized by close relationships, homely surroundings and high well-being. We have a dynamic resident group that consists of a mix of permanent residents and residents who are with us for shorter relief stays. This provides a varied everyday life where both long-term care and quick, professional assessment are needed.

About the position and your tasks

As our night watch, you have a crucial role in creating calm, continuity and security when darkness falls. You are alone in the house at night, which places high demands on your independence and judgment.

There is an option for a 7/7 arrangement (7 nights of work followed by 7 days off) if you wish.

Your primary tasks will be

• To ensure a calm and safe night for both our permanent residents and residents on relief.
• Close observation of the residents – you must be able to spot diffuse symptoms or changes in health status and act proactively on your professional intuition.
• Handling of acute situations as well as documentation in our professional system, which is Nexus.
• Practical tasks.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are educated as a Social and Health Assistant, Social and Health Helper or have another relevant health professional background with solid experience.

However, the most important is that you

• Are professionally strong and anchored in your own professional competence, so you feel confident making independent decisions during night hours.
• Are sharp at observing and translating your observations into quick, relevant action.
• Thrive in your own company and enjoy the special calm and the independent responsibility that comes with night work.
• Value collaboration highly . Even though you are alone at night, you see yourself as an important part of the overall 24-hour wheel. You prioritize good dialogue and strong colleague fellowship across shifts.
