The job

Erhverv og Bolig Byg A/S wins many exciting construction projects, and this time a new build in Vejle is to be delivered. Therefore there is a need to expand the organization with a project manager who will take the overall responsibility for the construction and a central role in the entire building process. When the construction is handed over, you can look forward to new exciting projects.

Brief description of the project

The project is a comprehensive design-build contract totaling DKK 100 million. With reference to the project manager on the case, you will become a key resource for the execution of the construction. The job of project manager includes many varied tasks, including:

• Daily leadership of the construction team
• Responsible for status and follow-up meetings
• Carrying out construction meetings with subcontractors
• Communication with both internal and external parties
• Handling of safety and the work environment
• Ongoing and close site management
• Budget control in collaboration with the project manager
• Handling of post-calculation and evaluation of the total construction
• Delivery handover on time and to the required quality with follow-up

Your workday will primarily be on the construction site. The client places high demands on documentation, which requires you to be familiar with reporting and control based on an IT platform.

Qualifications

You have experience in project management and have proven that you successfully drive construction projects to completion, in terms of time, budget and quality. In addition you have a “get-it-done-attitude” and can transfer this spirit to the people on site. It is important that you are strong in documentation, both administratively and system-wise, and you are also a proficient IT user. Additionally, it is a requirement that you have a construction technical education as a building constructor or building engineer.

You have a high work capacity and not least work ethic, and your leadership style reflects decisiveness, an overview and engagement. In addition you have a positive approach to task solving, and it is natural for you to lead from the front and “raise the bar” for the whole team.

The company works as main and design-build contractor in the country. Core areas are commercial buildings, larger residential buildings and retail stores, where they offer to handle all aspects of a construction task – from the project's idea and maturation phase to bids and the actual construction.

Erhverv og Bolig Byg's office is located in Randers, where 18 employees work. It is a small organization with very skilled project management, which enables the company to be sharp on price, collaboration and quality. Erhverv og Bolig Byg has the necessary capital and warranty frameworks to bid on both small and large contracts.
