Are you motivated to translate the business needs into concrete technical solutions and follow projects all the way from the first ideas to commissioning? Then you may be our new Project Manager in the Building & Constructions team at Arla Foods Ingredients in Videbæk.

In Building & Constructions you will become part of an experienced project team that works with investments and development of production plants related to drying towers, packaging lines and associated production equipment. The role gives you the opportunity to work on technically complex projects and collaborate with specialists across the organization.

How will you make a difference?

As Project Manager you will be responsible for driving investment projects through the entire project lifecycle. From the initial project descriptions and scope clarifications to installation, testing, documentation and finally handover to operations. These are challenging and exciting projects of all sizes from DKK 100,000 to +100 million DKK on facilities and installations for, among others, membrane filtration, spray drying, powder handling, robot systems, etc.

You will be the link between production, maintenance, quality, external suppliers and other key stakeholders, ensuring that the projects create value for the business.

Your primary responsibilities will be to

• Drive investment projects from idea, scope clarification and design to commissioning and closure.
• Establish and lead cross-functional project teams as well as ensure progress through the entire project lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, specialists and external suppliers.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and decision basis for approval processes.
• Plan installations, shutdowns, test runs and ensure correct handover and project closure.

What makes you successful in the role?

You have a technical educational background and experience with production or process facilities. At the same time you thrive in a role with many contact surfaces, where you must both understand technical details and maintain an overview. You do not necessarily need to come from a dedicated project management role, but we are looking for a person who is motivated to drive progress and thrives in a role with many contact surfaces.

You are able to maintain an overview in complex projects, naturally take ownership of your tasks and are proactive and not afraid to seek out the information needed to move forward. At the same time you are skilled at building relationships and collaborating across the organization, where you communicate clearly and translate different needs into common solutions.

We imagine that you

• Have a technical degree as a mechanical engineer, machine engineer (maskinmester), dairy engineer or similar.
• Have experience with technical installations, production equipment or process plants, preferably from dairy, food or other process industries.
• It is considered an advantage if you have experience with project work or project management and are motivated to drive tasks and projects forward.
• Are strong in stakeholder management and able to create good relationships and cross-functional collaboration with many different stakeholders.
• Work in a structured and systematic way, even when the framework is not fully defined.
• Proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
