Project Manager, Denmark

Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Hobro, we operate in 16 countries in Europe, and our project portfolio is continuously expanding. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to strengthen our development department in Denmark. Based at our headquarters in Hobro, you will become part of a team of 19 employees, including yourself, who work on the development of wind turbine and solar projects in Denmark.

Your role

As Project Manager you will be involved in our Danish energy projects from start to finish – from the first contact to the final approval. You will work closely with landowners, neighbours, authorities and other local stakeholders and become an important face outward for Eurowind Energy in the areas where we develop new projects.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Handle contact with new partners in potential wind turbine and solar areas.
• Negotiate the framework of agreements with landowners, neighbours and other relevant parties.
• Manage ongoing project management and dialogue with landowners, neighbours, municipalities and authorities.

Eurowind Energy emphasizes securing a high degree of local grounding around our projects. Therefore you will also participate in follow-up groups, citizen meetings and similar in the areas where new projects are being prepared, and here you must be able to stand up and represent us to the local community.

Furthermore, the job consists of being proactive in maintaining a positive relationship with municipal authorities as a credible and serious partner. In collaboration with our planners you will participate in the approval process by preparing applications for renewable energy projects, environmental impact assessments and local plans, which we partly have prepared by external consulting firms. You will, together with the rest of the team, participate in the ongoing dialogue with administrations and politicians during the approval processes.

The ideal profile

As you will have many collaborators, it is important that you are good at building relationships and can use them constructively in your work. We therefore value that you have a trustful approach to your partners.

Your educational background is not decisive and can, for example, be agricultural or another relevant background. There are several different approaches to the job, but the following would be an advantage:

• A self-driven, proactive and persistent approach to your work combined with a commercial and solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with project management and handling of partners.
• Experience with or desire to work with wind turbine and solar projects, preferably in combination with Power2X (electrolysis, biogas, heat pump).
• Knowledge of or insight into planning processes and political decision-making processes in municipalities.
