Project Manager for larger cross-functional projects

Would you like to help drive some of the larger projects that shape Bornholm's development? And are you motivated by bringing together different disciplines and perspectives to make projects succeed?

In the Center for Environment, Planning and Culture in the Bornholm Regional Municipality we are seeking a sharp project manager for larger cross-cutting projects in our departments for Planning, Building, Environment and Nature.

As a project manager you will have the opportunity to work with projects that have great significance for development on Bornholm. Here you will play a central role in creating direction, coherence and progress in larger cross-cutting projects. This could include tasks related to Energiø Bornholm, local plans for social housing, the development of the Vibergårds area in Rønne, or other larger development projects in the municipality.

What these projects have in common is that they bring together different disciplines, actors and interests. You will therefore have an important role in creating good processes where different perspectives are brought into play, and the projects move forward.

Your tasks

As a project manager you will have the opportunity to follow the projects closely and be the one who ties the different strands together. Your tasks will include, among others:

• plan, drive and follow up on larger cross-cutting projects
• create an overview of timelines, deliverables and decisions
• coordinate and foster good collaboration across sectors
• plan and facilitate meetings, workshops and project processes
• collaborate with external actors and stakeholders
• prepare proposals and materials for management and political fora.

You do not need to be an expert in all the fields you work with – your strength lies in project management and in creating the framework that makes the disciplines work together.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant higher education and experience with project management, process management or coordination of complex tasks.

You work both independently and in a structured way, are good at building relationships and can maintain an overview when many parties are involved. You communicate clearly both orally and in writing and have an eye for what is needed to move a project forward.

Experience from a politically led organization is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You will become part of a small team of cross-cutting project managers. Here you will have colleagues to bounce ideas off about project management and concrete tasks, while you each drive your own projects across the disciplines.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local pay formation.

A category B driving license – standard car – is a requirement.

The position is 37 hours per week.
