Project Manager for NO-Dig / guided underboring – with strong financial understanding and a desire to develop the department

Do you want to lead projects within guided boring and NO-Dig, and would you like to help develop a specialized department at Munck Forsyningsledninger a/s? Then we may have the job for you.

We are looking for a robust, IT-proficient project manager for our NO-Dig department in Odense, where we deliver environmentally friendly, trenchless solutions for renovation and installation of distribution pipelines.

With us you will have broad responsibility for both projects, financial management, bidding, staff and client contact. You will become a central part of the daily life in the department and have real influence on both daily operations and the further development of the department.

The department today consists of 2 administrative staff and approximately 12 hourly-paid employees and operates with a well-established and modern fleet. Your primary place of work will be Odense, reporting to the Department Manager Svend Blichfeld.

Your tasks

As a project manager you will be responsible for your own projects from start to finish, with particular focus on financial management, bidding and development of the department. You will get close to both customers, employees and the decisions that must bring the projects safely and efficiently to completion.

Your responsibilities will include

• Project management from bid and startup to delivery and post-calculation
• Financial management, including extra work, post-calculation, ongoing status reporting and overview of purchasing agreements
• Bid calculation and estimation of bore tasks, both internal and external
• Coordination with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Leadership and sparring with the department’s employees
• Follow-up on quality, progress, safety and documentation
• Contributing to the development of the department's processes, competencies, fleet and business areas

Who are you?

You have experience with project management and financial control from the contracting industry, the utility sector or other technical projects.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with NO-Dig and guided boring, but not a requirement. If you have a good technical understanding and a willingness to learn, we will ensure you are equipped for the methods.
