Project Manager for steel projects

Would you like to take responsibility for your own projects with customer-tailored special solutions including, among other things, steel constructions, stairs and balconies – and be able to see them become reality on the construction site?

For the company V-Steel we are looking for a project manager who will lead steel projects across the country. Here you will have independent project responsibility, real influence and the opportunity to tailor your project portfolio according to your experience and your ambitions.

What can you expect in the job?

You will have responsibility for your own projects – from the sale having concluded a contract and handed the project over to you to the delivery of the finished solution. The weight of the projects will be adjusted to you:

• If you are experienced, you can lead larger contracts with up to 5-10 installers.
• If you are earlier in your career, you can receive smaller and more manageable projects, where you build experience and get sparring along the way.

You will

• Manage the finances, progress and quality of your projects
• Work from the Skive office and participate in 1–2 construction meetings per week on the sites
• Plan and coordinate assembly and deliveries
• Negotiate procurement and ensure a healthy business in the projects
• Collaborate closely with the sales manager (estimating), external structural engineers, the design office and your project manager colleagues

You drive the projects with good business sense, and your clear communication and positive approach to collaboration ensure that you get installers and partners to work for you. Your ability to plan and to turn the plan into daily activities ensures that you both have an overview and can dive into the details when required.

Your background could be, for example

• Craftsman experience combined with further education as a designer, production technologist or similar
• Alternatively a technical background with knowledge of the construction industry

The most important is that you can run projects in a structured and businesslike way – and that you are eager to take on responsibility.
