About the job

Would you like to help ensure that the sewer network can handle the climate of the future and growing urban areas? And are you motivated by driving projects from the initial ideas to the finished solution?

Project management with responsibility and freedom

As a project manager in the Pump Stations Team you get your own project responsibility and follow the projects all the way from the initial investigations to the finished solution.

You work with construction projects that help ensure that our supply can handle more rain, more residents and future requirements for the infrastructure. It can be renovation of pump stations, replacement of facilities or solutions that protect lakes and rivers from overflow. You are the common thread through the projects and collaborate with colleagues, municipalities, authorities, suppliers and contractors to get the tasks safely to the finish.

You typically have several projects underway at the same time and a lot of freedom to plan your day yourself. Therefore, the role is ideal for someone who thrives with responsibility, works in a structured way and is motivated by seeing concrete results from their work. You will among other things work with:

  • Planning and management of projects from start to finish
  • Budget planning and financial follow-up
  • Coordination with internal specialists and partners
  • Dialogue with municipalities and authorities about necessary permits
  • Participation in connection with tendering and contract management
  • Documentation, reporting and communication to relevant stakeholders
  • Follow-up on project progress, quality and deliveries
  • Visits to facilities and construction sites as needed

You drive the projects, we contribute with specialist knowledge

We are looking for you who want to drive projects, create momentum and maintain an overview of many different activities and stakeholders. Maybe you are a recent graduate or early in your career. Maybe you already have a couple of years' experience with project management or project coordination. It could be from the utility sector, construction and civil engineering, the consultancy sector or the contracting world.

We imagine that you

  • Work in a structured way and have an eye for planning and coordination
  • Thrive with responsibility and independence
  • Are curious and motivated to learn new things
  • Are good at communicating both verbally and in writing
  • Can build relationships across disciplines
  • Maintain an overview, even when several projects run simultaneously

It is not a requirement that you have technical knowledge of sewerage technology, but an advantage if you have knowledge of e.g.:

  • Project management tools and project governance
  • The utility or infrastructure sector
  • GIS
  • AB18 and construction contracts
  • Construction and civil engineering projects

Your educational background could, for example, be engineer, building constructor, diploma engineer or you may have another relevant higher education within engineering, construction, geography, planning or similar.
