Project Manager with an interest in strategic development

Are you interested in planning and development, and would you like to work closely with the political processes that steer Bornholm's development?

In the Center for Environment, Planning and Culture in Bornholm's Regional Municipality we are seeking a project manager for cross-cutting tasks linked to, among others, the planning area.

A central part of the position will be project management in connection with a § 17, subparagraph 4 committee. Here you will have an important role in planning and driving the process as well as ensuring coordination, progress and follow-up in close collaboration with relevant professionals and management.

We would like you to have knowledge of the planning area and an interest in strategic development. The most important is, however, that you have strong project management skills and can create structure and drive processes forward.

Your tasks

As a project manager you will be responsible for creating overview and coherence in the processes you drive. Your tasks will include:

• plan, manage and follow up on project and process initiatives
• support the work of § 17, stk. 4-udvalget
• provide an overview of activities, timelines and deliveries
• coordinate across relevant disciplines
• plan and facilitate meetings, workshops and other processes
• prepare presentations and materials for management and political fora

Who are you?

We envisage that you have a relevant higher education and experience with project management, process management or coordination of complex tasks.

We would like you to have knowledge of the planning area – for example through experience with local plans, municipal planning or other tasks within physical planning. You do not necessarily need to be a trained planner, but it is advantageous to have an understanding of the processes and considerations associated with the area.

You work independently and in a structured way, are good at building relationships and can move a process forward with a view to both the whole and the different perspectives and interests that must be balanced along the way. You communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Experience from a politically led organization is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer

You will get a project manager position close to both the professional and political development on Bornholm and the opportunity to play a central role in cross-cutting processes in the planning area.

You will work closely with the other cross-cutting project managers. Although you will drive your own projects, you will have the opportunity to continuously spar and share experiences about project management.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local pay formation.

A driving license for category B - ordinary car is a requirement.

The position is 37 hours per week.
