Project Manager for a large renovation project with in-house production

We are looking for a project manager with strong people skills to oversee renovation projects

and ensure quality for the delight of our customers and other partners.

Hovedstadens Bygningsentreprise A/S primarily works with

main contracts within the renovation area and has in-house production in roofing - windows and

facade renovation. We place great emphasis on high professional competence and quality as well as adherence to budget and deadlines.

The job

You will have wide contact surfaces and will communicate and coordinate with the client, subcontractors,

partners and your craft colleagues in production when you manage your projects.

You will be responsible for projects with a contract sum of more than DKK 60 million, including initiation

and execution of projects toward the final goal.

This requires professional and business competence as well as analytical overview and approach to the work

combined with perseverance and good negotiation skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that the collaboration in the

project team functions, and that the obstacles that arise along the way are handled constructively and professionally.

You know that you are most successful with this if you are detail-oriented and structured in your planning and have

a motivating effect on both subcontractors and site managers as well as the crew on the sites.

About you

You have already, over several years and several larger projects, proven your worth as a skilled project manager and are used to

managing projects safely to completion with a satisfied team around you.

• work systematically, but also handle many balls in the air
• ensure that tasks are delivered in high quality, on time and without defects
• plan and coordinate the projects, including ensuring handover
• lead the employees and understand how to motivate the team around your projects

In addition, it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of renovation tasks in social housing,

cooperatives and tenant associations, municipalities, etc.

As a person we expect you to

• naturally be solution-oriented and take responsibility throughout the process
• have strong competencies within financial construction tasks in in-house production, risk management, goal management and process optimization
• be good at communicating with both colleagues and customers
• tag responsibility, collaboration and quality highly
• have broad experience with renovation projects
• be accustomed to negotiating and collaborating with the client, authorities, suppliers and subcontractors
• have a driver's license, and speak, read and understand Danish.
