Design Manager

This means that the organization is expanding and is therefore looking for yet another design manager.

The job

You land in an attractive key position surrounded by exciting construction projects in an ambitious professional environment, where work is targeted at sustainable solutions, innovation and new thinking.

As a design manager you will be a pivotal player in relation to the rest of the company\'s value chain. You shall therefore act as a catalyst for a strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, also in relation to sales, design and finance, and ensure that everyone works from the same assumptions.

Customer contact, both in connection with start-up, execution and delivery, as well as close dialogue and follow-up with external partners and subcontractors, will likewise be a significant part of your daily work.

The position is for you who thrive in an environment with high energy, pace and responsibility, where decisions often have to be made quickly, and where no day is the same.

Your tasks will include

• Handling of all phases in the projects – from planning and design to execution and delivery
• Coordination of project teams and efforts across different projects and disciplines
• Close dialogue with clients, partners and our own customers
• Design and quality assurance
• Responsible for progress, time and budget on the projects
• Ensure order in the ”penalhuset” and control of agreements

Who are you?

You are an experienced design manager who has successfully delivered larger construction projects on time, within budget and with quality. You also have a relevant construction-technical education, preferably as a building constructor, building engineer, electrical installer or HVAC installer.

You have a high work capacity and not least work ethic, and your leadership style reflects decisiveness, overview, structure and engagement. In addition you have a positive attitude toward even the most challenging tasks, and you possess a good sense of humor that rubs off on your surroundings.
