Project Engineer – take responsibility for technical solutions and customer-specific electrical switchboards in an international context

For A/S Løgstrup-Steel in Kvistgård we are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer who will play a central role in the development and delivery of advanced low-voltage switchboard systems – for both Danish and international customers.

About the position

As a Project Engineer at Løgstrup-Steel you will become part of a dynamic technical department, where you will play an important role in the whole process from technical clarification and design to testing and handover. You will work closely with customers, production, development and other departments – and ensure that our switchboard solutions meet both standards and the customer's specific needs.

You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including in collaboration with our strategic customers, where your technical competencies and project management come into play in an international setup.

Your primary tasks will be

In this role you will be responsible for a broad range of technical and coordinating tasks, where you are involved from design to delivery – including:

• Design and documentation of low-voltage switchboard installations
• Technical consultancy and customer contact – incl. participation in coordination meetings
• Preparation of offers, calculation of changes and handling of change orders (VOs)
• Testing and functional verification of switchboards – including programming and commissioning
• Financial control and follow-up on own projects
• Complaints handling and technical support to colleagues
• Quality assurance in accordance with the D4 system

You have the ability to maintain an overview, work systematically and follow your tasks through to completion. Professional competencies

We imagine that you have a strong technical background and most of the following qualifications:

• Technical education as electrical installer, master of engineering in machinery, electrical engineer or similar
• Experience with design and delivery of electrical switchboards is an advantage
• Good understanding of technical documentation and 2D drawings
• Experience with the Office suite, especially Excel (intermediate level)
• Familiarity with relevant standards and components in switchboard production
• Proficient in both Danish and English, written and spoken
