About the job

The energy and industrial sectors are undergoing rapid change, and we are busy translating ambitions into concrete projects. Therefore we are looking for a project manager who can set the direction, create momentum and bring the team together when ideas have to become reality.

With us you will be part of a strong professional environment where engineers and project managers work closely together to deliver solutions to utility companies and industrial customers. We pull together and expect you to take responsibility and contribute to the community. We work closely with our customers – often from the first ideas – and help them safely through all phases of the project. The tasks range from technical construction and energy efficiency improvements to energy plants such as heat pumps, electric boilers and storage tanks.

Your role as advisor

You will be responsible for driving projects on behalf of our customers with a focus on quality, progress and robust solutions. You work at the intersection of technology, process and people, where your ability to create structure, prioritise correctly and communicate clearly is essential.

Your tasks will include

  • Lead and manage projects within the energy and industrial segment through all project phases
  • Be the customer's trusted advisor and keep focus on value, risk and quality
  • Ensure strong decision bases and advise on the choice of solutions
  • Manage design in collaboration with disciplines and specialists
  • Plan and conduct tendering and assist in negotiations and contracting
  • Monitor projects in the execution phase and ensure that the intentions are realized
  • Take responsibility for economy, time, quality and risks
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.

You work both strategically and operationally and are involved where the decisions are made.

Who are you?

You have the experience to confidently lead your projects and the curiosity to continue developing yourself.

We imagine that you

  • Have a technical background as an engineer, designer or similar
  • Have about 5–8 years of experience, preferably from the consulting industry, technical contracting company, utility company or a project-heavy organization in an industrial company
  • Have worked with design, tendering and/or execution of construction or industrial projects
  • Have a solid grasp of classic project management: economy, time, quality and risks
  • Are good at creating structure and overview in complex processes
  • Can communicate clearly – with technicians, management and collaborators
  • Work at a high professional level and also have good practical sense
  • Appreciate variation between large and small tasks
  • Can analyze customer needs and come with constructive solutions
  • Can work independently, take responsibility and thrive in collaboration with colleagues in project teams
  • Have strong written and spoken communication skills in Danish and English and can convey messages clearly to many people
  • Are outgoing, trustworthy, have a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Therefore you should choose the advisory track with us

  • You work closely with the customer and have real influence on the solutions
  • You follow the projects all the way, from idea to reality
  • You get the opportunity to shape both your projects and your workday
  • You lead projects with a direct impact on the green transition
  • You get a daily life with variation – from idea phase to execution
  • You become part of a strong professional environment with high specialization and colleagues who prioritise collaboration and integrity
  • You have the opportunity to develop both your project management and advisory competencies.

We offer

  • Many exciting and challenging projects
  • A strong professional network with dedicated and competent colleagues
  • A culture where well-being, collaboration and working conditions are prioritized
  • A dynamic and inspiring environment with ample opportunity for personal development
  • A workplace where “freedom with responsibility” is a core value
  • Good career opportunities, supported by internal training programs at Akademi, where we teach leadership, project management, BIM and other professional areas
  • Attractive employee benefits including health insurance, employee bonus, lunch arrangement, active staff clubs, sports and cultural events, study trips and an attractive salary package.
