Project Manager with a metal background sought for Herning

Can you see yourself in a role where you follow projects from bid to delivery? Do you have experience from the metal industry, e.g. as a blacksmith or locksmith and experience with building steel, costing and calculation of steel constructions?

So it may be you we are looking for for an exciting position at a metal company in Herning.

Responsibilities

• Project management from bid to delivery
• Estimating and calculation of projects, including tasks within building steel
• Review of technical drawings, specifications and customer inquiries
• Planning and coordination of projects with focus on time, economy and quality
• Coordination between customers, production, subcontractors, transport and installation
• Follow-up on project progress, changes and any extra work
• Procurement and coordination of materials and subcontractors
• Customer contact and ongoing dialogue throughout the entire project process

We imagine that you

• Have experience from the metal industry, e.g. as a blacksmith, locksmith or similar
• Have experience with project management within the metal and/or construction industry
• Would preferably have experience with building steel and calculation of steel constructions
• Have knowledge of EN 1090 and ISO 3834
• Can read and understand technical drawings
• Are good at communicating and building relations with both customers and colleagues
• Take responsibility and see your projects through to completion
• Thrive in a varied daily life where you are at the office, in production and with customers
