Bridges at Artelia

At Artelia you will be part of an engaged team of 18 bridge engineers and project managers who work with bridges and civil structures in all sizes and project phases. We solve tasks in both existing constructions and new builds and work with a wide range of materials, including concrete, steel, wood, composites and fiberglass.

Our clients span a broad spectrum and include, among others, the Danish Road Directorate, Banedanmark, municipalities, contractors and private developers. This provides a diverse project portfolio where you will work on everything from smaller local civil structures to large infrastructure projects and cross-disciplinary construction tasks.

Bridges are an important part of the infrastructure that binds society together. Therefore we collaborate closely with colleagues in areas such as rail, traffic, geotechnics, environment, climate adaptation and construction management to create robust and value-adding solutions for our customers. The bridges department is in ongoing development with a strong project portfolio and exciting opportunities ahead. Your profile

We imagine that you are an experienced bridge engineer and project manager with strong relational and technical competencies. You thrive on driving progress in projects, bringing together different disciplines around common goals and building trustful relationships with clients and partners. You have solid experience with bridge and infrastructure projects and are motivated to deliver good solutions of high quality.

At the same time, you are eager to contribute to the development of our professional environment through sparring, knowledge sharing and the development of younger colleagues. In addition, we would like you to:

• have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within bridges, civil structures or infrastructure
• have experience leading projects through several phases from early investigations and design through tender, construction and follow-up
• have strong competencies in time and budget management, quality assurance and stakeholder management
• have experience collaborating across disciplines and with clients, authorities, contractors and consultants
• be willing and able to contribute to professional sparring and development of younger colleagues
• work in a structured and solution-oriented way and be able to maintain an overview in projects with many stakeholders

Your primary tasks

• Project management of bridge and infrastructure projects with responsibility for progress, economy, quality and coordination across disciplines.
• Project manager and discipline lead responsibility on bridge projects through all project phases, from early investigations and design to tender, construction and follow-up.
• Build and develop strong relationships with clients, including the Danish Road Directorate, Banedanmark, municipalities, contractors etc.
• Dialogue and coordination with clients, authorities, contractors and internal specialists to ensure that technical solutions, schedules and deliveries are aligned
• Contribute to bid work, client development and the continued development of Artelia’s bridge portfolio.
• Professional sparring, quality assurance and development of younger bridge engineers in the department
