Project Manager with responsibility for production and progress

12-month project employment

Do you want to lead the production and ensure the construction project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the agreed quality?

As project manager you will be responsible for organizing the project team, creating momentum and keeping track of time, economy, quality, working environment and contractual frameworks. You bring together internal and external parties around the project goals and follow up so plans and agreements are translated into results.

You will be specifically assigned to the task of constructing new accommodation buildings for the army/defense in either Oksbøl or Varde.

We carry out part of the task in house production of earthworks, sewer and concrete; other trades are carried out with subcontractors.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for production and ensure that the project team is organized appropriately with clear guidelines and a sensible division of labor. You manage the project's sub-economy, monitor schedules and contractual obligations and respond quickly when risks or unforeseen events require action.

Your primary tasks will be to

• develop detailed schedules and ensure the project meets the agreed deadlines
• manage the project's sub-budget and ensure the allocated budget is adhered to
• follow up on the contract provisions, deliveries and deadlines and ensure the project stays within the contractual framework
• identify risks at project level, assess consequences and respond quickly to unforeseen events
• ensure good communication and effective collaboration with internal and external parties as well as other stakeholders
• ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable quality standards, specifications and agreements
• ensure that the project complies with applicable health and safety requirements, and actively contribute to a safe and healthy working environment on the construction site

You communicate openly and professionally and keep the project’s goals at the center, even when the framework changes.

We imagine that you

• have a relevant construction-related background and experience in project or production management in construction
• have basic knowledge of contracts and can follow up on deliveries, deadlines and agreed frameworks
• can prepare and follow detailed schedules and maintain an overview of the project deadlines
• have an understanding of financial management and can manage a sub-budget within an allocated budget
• can identify risks, assess consequences and act quickly in the face of unforeseen events
• communicate openly and respectfully and foster professional collaboration across the project
• work responsibly, adaptable to change and with focus on quality, integrity and credibility
