Project Manager for industrial projects

For our client Eurocon Group A/S in Holstebro we are seeking a project manager who will help drive and develop the company’s projects for customers in sectors such as the steel industry, utilities, wind and recycling.

At Eurocon you will have the opportunity to work with mechanical industrial projects, where technical solutions become concrete constructions and facilities. You will be close to both manufacturing and assembly and can bring your knowledge of materials, construction and production into play in collaboration with skilled professionals.

Role responsibilities As a project manager you will become part of the Eurocon Group and work daily in the company’s department in Holstebro. You will report directly to the production manager and will be responsible for your own projects from order to delivery. You work closely with production, and you are the customer’s primary contact throughout the process.

Your main tasks

• Lead your own design tasks and projects from order intake through manufacturing to installation and delivery, with a focus on on-time delivery and project economics
• Maintain ongoing customer dialogue, clarify requirements and wishes, and coordinate the project’s execution with the customer and production
• Design in SolidWorks with a focus on good and manufacturable solutions
• Participate in bidding work and support the sales department in pricing

You will work with exciting mechanical industrial projects within construction, fabrication and installation of steel constructions and industrial facilities, where a substantial part of the task is to ensure the delivery works together. For the projects there is a consultant attached who handles the calculations. You can expect 5-10 travel days per year, primarily in Denmark and Europe.

With strong project management competencies you will reliably reach the goals of your projects We imagine that:

• You have several years of experience in technical project management and design - preferably more
• You have experience from the industry and a solid understanding of materials. Knowledge of steel is an advantage
• You understand how things are put together, and whether they can be produced in practice
• You master Danish and English in speech and writing
• You have experience with 3-D drawing programs, preferably SolidWorks

Your educational background could be, for example, production technologist, metalworker, machine engineer or mechanical engineer. The most important is not your educational background, but that you have the professional design ballast or the project management competencies needed to drive your projects safely to completion.
