Project Manager/Engineer for the electricity grid of the future

Are you a trained electrical engineer and do you have experience with project management? Do you want to work with design and execution of high-voltage projects that contribute to the development and future-proofing of the power grid? Then you may be our new engineer and project manager for Vores Elnet. Responsible for complex high-voltage projects: As the electrification of society increases, we continually invest in the development of the grid to ensure capacity for future energy needs.

Here you will have a central role in translating needs into concrete solutions and ensuring a robust grid with high supply security.

You will become part of our project department, which works with planning and design of expansions and larger renovation projects of the distribution network, primarily within 60 kV and 10 kV facilities.

Projects range from smaller construction and renovation tasks to larger and multi-year projects. You will have great autonomy in executing the projects and responsibility to ensure quality, economy and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

You work closely with both internal colleagues and external partners, where coordination and follow-up are a natural part of daily work.

Your tasks will include

• Drive 60/10 kV projects from idea to commissioning
• Prepare technical solution designs for new facilities and renovation projects
• Ensure that the projects are carried out within agreed economics, quality and schedule
• Take care of project follow-up, documentation and reporting
• Coordinate the project stakeholders and external partners
• Carry out procurement, contract management and ongoing supplier follow-up

Are you our new project manager? We imagine that you are a trained electrical engineer and have experience with design of 60/10 kV high-voltage stations or high-voltage stations at higher voltage levels. You have a few years of experience from a similar position and are used to driving technical projects.

As a person you thrive with great independence and are motivated by freedom with responsibility. You are engaged, persistent and able to keep an overview, even when you are working with several projects and stakeholders at the same time. You are naturally curious and want to continually develop your competences as the electricity grid and the industry evolve. You thrive in collaboration with many different stakeholders and are able to create trusting relationships through an open and professional approach.

At the same time you dare to question familiar workflows and contribute with new perspectives when you see opportunities for improvements.
