Property manager seeks leasing manager

About the company

We are a newly established property management company, owned by AG Gruppen and Lægernes Pension og Bank. We primarily manage properties that our owners themselves own, which makes us different from traditional third-party property managers that service a wide range of external clients. Our focus is to create value for the owners while ensuring high quality in the operation of the properties, to the benefit of the owners, the tenants and our partners.

As a new company, our primary task right now is to build the organization so that we are ready to take over and operate the existing housing portfolio that our owners already hold. Our task is to get the right systems, processes and the right team in place, so we can manage the operations and create value for the owners from the day we take over the portfolio. This provides a unique opportunity to help shape how we work and to put your own mark on both processes and culture.

The office will be located a little north of Copenhagen, and the portfolio consists of residential properties in the Copenhagen metropolitan area.

Who are you?

You are presumably an experienced lettings manager or lettings coordinator who thrives in a busy everyday life with many different tasks – from the building and strategic work to the concrete meetings with individual tenants.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and take pleasure in helping to build something new. You will not be deterred by processes and structures not yet in place, but rather see it as an opportunity to put your own stamp on it.

Sales and service come naturally to you. You are service-minded, trustworthy and comfortable interacting with many different types of people. You enjoy being at the front during open houses and viewings, and you have an eye for matching the right tenant to the right property.

At the same time you are structured and have a sharp eye for detail when building and running letting processes that must function in an organization that is still being built. You are a strong team player who thrives with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility in solving tasks, but you are also good at collaborating with colleagues, owners and partners.

It is an advantage if you have experience with letting homes, including viewings, screening of tenants and contract negotiations, as well as experience in building or optimizing letting processes.

The position

You will become part of a new organization that needs to be built up to take over and operate a portfolio of properties that our owners already own. You will play a central role in building our internal lettings from the ground up – and you will also be responsible for the daily lettings of the individual homes, including open houses and viewings for the individual tenants.

Because we are a newly established company, in addition to the lettings task itself you will also be involved in shaping the processes, systems and the culture that will characterize the letting going forward.

Your most important tasks will include, among others

• Building and implementing efficient letting processes and systems for internal lettings
• Marketing and advertising of vacant homes
• Conducting open houses and individual viewings for prospective tenants
• Screening, selection and approval of tenants
• Preparation and conclusion of lease contracts and handling of move-ins and move-outs
• Ongoing dialogue and relationship with tenants in connection with lettings
• Close collaboration with asset managers, administrators and other colleagues on the properties' operation
• Reporting to management on letting status, vacancy and development
