About the job

Can you work with vulnerable psychiatric residential patients in close collaboration with staff at housing facilities, inpatient wards, relatives and other important people in the patient’s life – then you are the one we need in our team.

You will have a challenging job where you are expected to work independently, while also being part of a close and supportive team.

You will be employed as a clinical contact person. We work FACT-inspired, with a recovery-oriented approach. You will most often travel to patients at the housing facilities, but there is also the possibility for creative solutions such as video contact, walk and talk, or something entirely different. We have a base on the Oringe peninsula in Vordingborg, where we hold board meetings three times a week. This location enables close collaboration with the inpatient wards, which are located on the same site, so we can together ensure quality in the treatment and support transitions in the treatment paths.

We provide treatment for patients at both large and small municipal and private residential facilities with both young and elderly citizens.

The focus is to help the patient with the often complex issues and life challenges on the road to recovery.

We are looking for you who

  • Is a trained nurse with psychiatric experience and preferably with a specialist education.
  • Is good at both establishing and maintaining contact with patients.
  • Can collaborate with residential facilities and inpatient wards with a focus on cohesive patient pathways
  • Can work independently and take responsibility in connection with performing, communicating and developing the treatment
  • Contributes with an affirming approach to partners and patients
  • Participates in our ongoing supervision, training and sparring.
  • Assists with health professional guidance and counseling, as well as teaching at the residential facilities and ensures follow-up of the medical treatment.

We place emphasis on good collegiality, safety, close collaboration, as well as freedom and flexibility under responsibility. As a new colleague you will be assigned a mentor who will help with a good introduction to the work.

Working hours are 37 hours per week and the temporary position is for 6 months. The Housing Offer Team is open during daytime hours on all weekdays, which is why the position is not for night shifts or weekends.

The position requires a driving license.
