About the job

The Personality Disorders Team is responsible for treating patients with personality disorders; primarily in the form of psychotherapy for those who can benefit from it. Treatment is for the most part conducted as a combination of psychoeducation (primarily in groups), individual sessions and group therapy. There will also be treatment courses characterized by network work, support and assessment. We work with MBT (mentalization-based therapy), and we plan courses and supervise within this framework.
The Personality Disorder Team is part of the Psychiatric Clinic Randers, Randers Regional Hospital. In the team we are a group of 7 psychologists, plus a affiliated physician and a social worker who helps us as needed. We value collaboration and professionalism highly and have a fixed structure for treatment conferences, team meetings, collegial sparring and joint supervision.
Core duties included in the position
- Initial consultations
- Therapeutic treatment in group and individually
- Maintenance of the role of primary therapist for a group of patients
- Treatment planning; prepare treatment plans, decide on the need for involvement of physician or social worker in the patient’s treatment
- Psychoeducation; individually and in groups

- Cross-sector collaboration around the patients
- Psychopathological diagnostic assessment. Both for patients in treatment for personality disorder and in the Clinic’s cross-cutting assessment team (PV01, PV02, etc.).
- Participation in the Clinic’s other tasks as needed and according to your competencies (e.g. assessment and testing across the clinic’s treating teams)
- Supervision and guidance of younger psychologists and multidisciplinary staff depending on your level of competence and the clinic’s needs
