About the job
Are you eager to develop your psychological expertise in meaningful work where you can make a difference for socially vulnerable children, youths, and their families? Are you interested in psychological assessment and treatment work? Then join our team of skilled employees in Familiehuset in Valby, Vesterbro, Kgs. Enghave (VVK).
About us
In Familiehuset, which is part of Din Sociale Indgang - Børn (DSI-children), we carry out the preventive efforts for socially vulnerable children, youths and their families. You will become part of a team of nine psychologists. In addition, Familiehuset consists of 25 family therapists, two team leaders and a department head. You will be part of a large community where we prioritize professional discussions and knowledge sharing. We are a versatile workplace with an informal tone, and there is room for a good laugh during our busy everyday life.
About the job
The psychology group in VVK handles the preparation of parent competence and attachment assessments for all DSI-children. If you already have experience with preparing parent competence and attachment assessments (FKU/TU) it is advantageous. You should have an interest in the assessment work and any training/education here if you do not already have experience.
We perform the FKU/TU task in pairs and are very mindful to ensure that we meet the Social Agency's guidelines and the ethical principles for Nordic psychologists.
The psychology group also conducts therapeutic treatment courses with children, youths and their parents. In Familiehuset there is a high degree of flexibility in the treatment work with citizens. In the psychology group several have pursued further education in MBT and EMDR. We use FIT as an evaluation tool in the therapeutic work.
The general treatment tasks are often complex and target children, youths and families who receive support measures under the Children’s Act for special support to children and young people under §30 and §32.
About you
You are a trained psychologist, with clinical psychology practice education or close to being so. You have interest and preferably experience in parent competence- and attachment assessments, as well as general psychological professional and interprofessional treatment tasks. Experience from similar positions, such as family departments, is relevant, but also PPR and psychiatry, as many of the citizens we meet are also followed in other sectors.
As a person you are motivated and thrive on
- being curious, investigative and having an analytical and systematic approach to your work
- working independently, including being able to structure your own pathways
- being able to engage in interprofessional collaboration
- joining Familiehuset, which is part of a larger organization with shared workflows
We offer
- a thorough introductory program, where in your first period of employment you will be assigned a supervisor and a mentor who can help you with big and small things
- a workday that offers many different tasks and good opportunities to influence the approach to your work
- ongoing external supervision on both assessment and treatment tasks
- opportunity for professional development
- to become part of a workplace with strong social cohesion
- flexible planning of your work and the possibility to occasionally work from home
We continuously focus on ensuring that the team has the right competencies to solve the tasks. Therefore, competence development is planned continuously. The majority of competence development is specialist-oriented and, combined with supervision, provides a good opportunity to accumulate hours toward the specialist education (clinical child and adolescent psychology).
Salary and employment terms
Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.
The position is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week with employment starting 1 January 2027.
