About the job

Are you keen to support the development of good learning environments for children and young people in day care facilities and schools in Horsens Municipality? Are you focused on contributing practice-based sparring to pedagogical staff? Do you focus on communities and the context's importance for the individual child?

Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the Cross-cutting Unit for Learning. We are seeking one psychologist for a permanent position and two psychologists for maternity-leave replacements.

About the job

In close collaboration with parents, leaders and professionals, you contribute to children and young people experiencing participation opportunities in strong child communities. You will apply your psychology expertise to support analyses, qualify decisions and translate knowledge into recommendations that strengthen the pedagogical practice.

The positions will include tasks within both PPR and Accessible Treatment Offer (LTT). The concrete task portfolio will be composed based on the department's needs as well as your competences and experience.

PPR tasks

  • Psychology professional advisory and sparring to day-care facilities and schools
  • Participation in interdisciplinary collaborations around children and young people
  • Analysis of learning environments and participation opportunities
  • Psychological assessments and recommendations for the pedagogical practice

LTT tasks

  • Manual-based treatment tasks (individual courses, group courses as well as parent and family courses)
  • Collaboration with parents and professionals to support well-being and development
  • Early interventions closely linked to the child’s or the young person’s everyday life

Your workday primarily takes place in schools and day-care facilities, where you contribute to reflection, development and action close to practice. You also provide organizational and strategic sparring to leaders. The job requires independence in planning work and the ability to translate psychological perspectives into concrete actions.

About you

You are a trained psychologist and motivated to create development through collaboration with others.

You thrive in practice-close work and are focused on creating participation opportunities for children and young people through strong communities. You have strong relational skills and a high degree of self-awareness. You are aware of how you influence and are influenced by others, and you manage to maintain a professional perspective when the task is complex and when different interests and expectations must be balanced. You actively use reflection on your own practice to create development, learning and good collaborations.

Additionally, we place emphasis on that you

  • Want to work closely with practice in day-care facilities and schools
  • See the value of multidisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to joint solutions
  • Have a view of participation opportunities, communities and the development of inclusive learning environments
  • Can translate psychological perspectives into concrete actions together with leaders and staff
  • Thrive in a daily life that includes both independent tasks and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Understand working in a politically led organization

Experience from PPR, school, day-care or treatment areas is an advantage but not a requirement.
