PSYCHIATRY - Nurse wanted for Team for Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment in Randers

The position is 37 hours/week with start on 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

At TIB we provide holistic treatment for patients over 18 years with a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders, social vulnerability, and concurrent substance use. We are in the establishment phase and gradually receive more referrals. Currently we have about 75 patients. Read about the target group and the treatment here:

We are seeking a nurse with the following qualifications

• Broad psychiatric experience
• Experience with dual-diagnosis patients and/or substance use treatment
• Possibly specialized training in psychiatric nursing
• Ability to meet patients with recognition and care and a belief that they are doing their best to create the best life for themselves
• Focus on relationship work and be creative and patient in the approach to each patient
• Good collaboration skills with both patients and relatives as well as internal and external partners
• Ability to work independently, but also loyal to decisions made in the team
• Can contribute to a developing, constructive and positive culture
• Personal resilience with the ability to stay calm in acute situations
• Can handle psychoeducation and guidance tasks within psychiatric nursing
• Dynamic, structured and flexible
• Experience with the electronic patient journal
• Ready to adapt and willing to take on new tasks beyond the primary therapist role (e.g. daily guidance, quality work, depot administration in our depot outpatient clinic, conducting initial and clarifying conversations)

The tasks will include

• Psychiatric treatment (including observation and assessment of symptoms of mental illness, management of psychopharmacological treatment, psychoeducation);
• Substance use treatment (talk-therapy e.g. Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
• Therapist conversations with a strong focus on the patient’s own wish to change
• Extensive cross-sector collaboration with e.g. psychiatric wards, coping coaches, hospital departments, job center, care homes, own doctor, etc.
• Detoxification and substitution treatment
• Outreach treatment; the treatment can take place in the patient’s own home, at our clinic or other places where it will be possible to meet the patient
• In time possibly oversee group treatment (e.g. psychoeducation, “A Better Life” groups)

About Psychiatric Clinic Randers

You will be part of Psychiatric Clinic Randers, Region Hospital Randers, which besides TIB consists of several teams; Team for psychosis (including OPUS), Team for personality disorders, Team for affective disorders (including Team for dementia), Team for assessment, the secretarial team and the Forensic Psychiatry Team. TIB’s catchment area covers four municipalities; Syddjurs, Norddjurs, Favrskov and Randers.

Working hours

The work takes place during the daytime on weekdays.

Employment requires a satisfactory criminal record and a driving license.
