About the job
Jammerbugt Municipality has ambitions for all children. They deserve it!
Would you like to help strengthen the opportunities for children and young people to thrive and develop? Then we have an exciting position ” in the midst of everyday life ” with start date 1 November 2026.
PPR is Jammerbugt Municipality's professional pedagogical-psychological advisory service, successful in creating positive changes and opportunities for children and young people. PPR works pragmatically, and therefore mainly handles tasks in the municipality's institutions – in very close collaboration with other professionals, the children/young people and their families.
We see it as a great strength that PPR works ”close to” and in the environment that children and young people are part of in daily life. Therefore a large part of the task solving also takes place at the partner organizations' workplaces, as that is where we meet the children!
Your competences
We are looking for a skilled psychologist who of course is passionate about the development and well-being of children and young people. But also passionate about the special craft of creating fruitful collaboration – not only with the child but also with the other professionals and other adults who are crucial for a child's well-being and development. We imagine that, in addition to strong psychology expertise, you have the will and understanding that your task is to make others successful on their own turf.
It requires an overview, independence and an assertive ability to embrace others' input. Furthermore we are seeking strong communicators who can already or are willing to learn the craft of producing e.g. reports and other case materials based on psychological assessments and communicating the contents thereof to the child’s network.
For you to succeed in the job we also imagine that you additionally
- are skilled at reflecting on your task solution, learning from your experiences and at the same time keeping a cool head
- are a confident IT user – as all case and record tasks are handled in our esdh system
- preferably have experience from working with children and young people or have practical experience from other public positions.
We offer
Exciting and development-oriented jobs at a workplace with 24 good colleagues, of which currently 17 other psychologists, six Speech and Hearing Consultants, and very broad external collaboration interfaces. As a new colleague you will also have the opportunity to
- a close learning-based collaboration around task solving with both ongoing and fixed supervised supervision
- a programme aimed at practical training
- to make a strong professional impact on the task solving
- to develop and manage special programmes aimed at school classes
- a busy everyday life at a workplace with a good atmosphere.
PPR Jammerbugt offers a broad range of services. In addition to psychological assessments, consultations, supervision and speech and hearing education, we also have a Speech School and handle treatment tasks for the family department. PPR manages the municipality's easily accessible treatment offerings, where children and young people shall receive treatment for mental distress.
Your application
We would like to receive an application in which you reflect on your competences and experiences in relation to PPR's areas of work. In addition, we would like to receive a CV with a short description of yourself, exam papers and any references.
Further information
PPR carries out tasks across the entire Jammerbugt Municipality and has an office at Danmarksgade 3 in Fjerritslev. Since you will be moving around the municipality a lot, it is necessary that you have a driver's license and your own car available.
Further information about the positions can be obtained by contacting PPR manager Pernille Skyum at mobile 41 91 21 24.
Employment is carried out according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation after negotiations with the representative organization.
